General Statement of Duties
Performs individualized supported employment activities for individuals with serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, and/or co-occurring substance use disorders; does related work as required.
- This position provides evidence-based supported employment services using the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model to individuals with serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, and/or co-occurring substance use disorder who express a desire to work.
- Assists individuals in obtaining and maintaining competitive integrated employment based on their strengths, preferences, interests, and career goals.
- Conducts vocational profiling and career exploration; develops individualized employment plans; engages in rapid job search activities; builds relationships with employers; provides job development and placement services; coordinates benefits counseling; delivers individualized job retention and follow-along supports.
- Works collaboratively as members of multidisciplinary behavioral health treatment teams to ensure employment services are integrated with clinical care and recovery goals.
- Performs other duties consistent with the responsibilities of the position and the needs of the agency that may be deemed appropriate.
Expected salary low to mid-range of the listed salary scale. QMHP certification required.
This position operates within the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Model. Employees in this position are required to successfully complete the IPS Supported Employment Practitioner Training.

Successful completion of all required NIMS courses.
Valid driver’s license to perform assigned duties at various locations.
May be required to travel and work a flexible schedule.

Minimum Requirements
Possession of a bachelor's degree in a field directly related to the assigned agency and two (2) years of job development work experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
