General Statement of Duties
This position plays a vital role in supporting the Professional Learning department by applying a thorough understanding of division policies and departmental practices, exercising independent judgment within established guidelines, and coordinating logistical needs across all departmental work streams. Additionally, this role is essential in managing the approval and reimbursement processes for professional learning activities for eligible staff across the division.
Supports high-level initiatives led by the department.
Utilizes spreadsheets to track and monitor data, ensuring accuracy and currency.
Manages approval and reimbursement processes related to professional learning activities for eligible staff.
Maintains a record of communication regarding reimbursement requests.
Assists with payroll processing for temporary funded positions approved by the Director of Professional Learning & Leadership.
Assists with the distribution, inventory, and collection of departmental materials.
Assists with the management of Career Ladder data.
Assists with and supports professional learning department events.
Collaborates with other departments to support activities and initiatives.
Manages confidential assignments with professionalism and discretion.
Provides backup and support in other departmental office responsibilities as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned to support the director and departmental responsibilities.
This vacancy is open until filled and is available for the 26-27SY. This is a 12 month, 8 hours per day, 260 day position. Minimum salary is $44,314.67 ($21.31 hourly) or based on promotion policy for internal candidates. Salary is prorated based on official start date. Work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Minimum Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with proficiency in digital resources, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, and Google Workspace. Essential skills include communication, public relations, organization, and a proactive, positive disposition. Professionalism and a strong command of spoken and written English are also key. The role further requires attention to detail, effective prioritization, problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and initiative. Minimal lifting may be required for event setup.
