General Statement of Duties

To support the school nurse in providing direct services to students in matters pertaining to student health.


Essential Duties

Regular attendance is required.

Under the guidance of the School Nurse, this individual will assist the students and staff in matters pertaining to student health.  Job duties are specific to each school location and program.


Additional Information

$17.63 per hour (-27 School year)

Minimum Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.  Certification in First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is required).  Knowledge and use of universal precautions for communicable diseases and bloodborne pathogens; ability to follow directions; ability to lift students as required; good written and/or verbal communication skills.
