General Statement of Duties
Henrico County Public Schools is offering an internship opportunity for students to develop skills and experience relevant to their course of study. We are committed to creating challenging, meaningful, relevant work experiences for students. This internship will have specific learning goals identified by the student as being core to their academic and career development. Henrico County Public Schools will strive to ensure a balance between the intern's specific learning goals and the work that is required by the Division.
• Support the administration and daily operation of the CIT internship tracking and management system.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to students, mentors, and staff using the internship tracking platform.
• Monitor, update, and maintain internship records to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to user questions and provide guidance on system features, processes, and requirements.
• Identify, document, and escalate software issues as needed.
• Assist with user account management, access requests, and system configuration updates.
• Develop and maintain procedural guides, FAQs, and training materials for system users.
• Generate reports and verify internship participation data for program staff.
• Test system updates and enhancements and provide feedback on functionality and user experience.
• Collaborate with program staff to improve processes related to internship tracking, documentation, and communication.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and adhere to all applicable privacy requirements.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Other duties as assigned.

The position is temporary at 29 hours per week.

Minimum Requirements
Education: High school graduate
Experience: Enrolled in a high-level program in relevant program; relevant job, volunteer or previous internship experience;
Or: Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities relevant to the internship.

- Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal History Investigation
- State Police Criminal History Investigation
- Child Protective Services (CPS) Investigation
- Tuberculosis Screening/Test
