This position reports to the Water Reclamation Facility at 9101 WRVA Road. 

This position may be underfilled at the Instrumentation Specialist I or II level depending on the qualifications of the successful candidate and the needs of the department at the time of higher.  If underfilled, this position does offer career development opportunities within the position based on the performance, qualifications, and experience of the incumbent. The expected hiring range for the selected candidate is also based upon the years of experience and certifications that are held and will typically be at the lower to mid-levels of the pay grade.

The pay ranges for the other positions are as follows:

Instrumentation Specialist I     $53,456.07 to $98,334.95

Instrumentation Specialist II    $58,711.31 to $108,002.21

Instrumentation Specialist III   $64,438.19 to $118,619.86

Requires possession of a current valid driver's license and may require a current Master Electrician's license.

May require a pre-employment and/or annual/regularly scheduled physical examination and/or medical tests administered by Henrico County Employee Health Services, the components of which are based on and appropriate to the specific sensory and/or physical demands of the given position.

Education: High school diploma plus additional formal training (e.g., apprenticeship or vocational training) or completed formal education program in electronics and instrumentation or certified master electrician preferred, and experience: Five (5) years of relevant electronic and/or instrumentation experience in a water or wastewater treatment facility; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
