General Statement of Duties
Supervises all activity within the local school facility and ultimately is responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating the educational program within the technical center. Supervises teachers, support staff and students. Coordinates the ACE (Advance Career Education) center programs with district goals, policy and procedures.

• Other related duties as assigned
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
• Plans class schedules, class enrollment and teacher assignments
• Establishes and manages the budget for school
• Supervises and evaluates the teaching staff
• Coordinates the school program with the district program through planning with central office personnel
• Plans and implements the public relations program for the school including newsletters, advisory committees, and volunteer programs
• Has intensive involvement in planning and supervising student extracurricular programs
• Assists with discipline of students
• Applies appropriate measures to monitor student achievement

Minimum Requirements
Master's degree and minimum three years’ experience as a teacher, administrator or supervisor, at least one year of which must have been at the technical center level to which assigned. Postgraduate professional certificate with Administration and Supervision endorsement required. Must possess extensive knowledge of the curriculum and instructional program, including content and methodologies. Organizational skills are required to plan, implement and evaluate the school program and lead the teaching and support staff in achieving the school's goals. Supervisory skills include staff assignment, monitoring staff development and evaluating staff effectiveness. Highly developed communications skills are required for contact with community members, parents, students, teachers and central office administration; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
