General Statement of Duties
Provides professional and technical services for video recording and editing. Responsible for planning, capturing and producing finished promotional projects, both video and printed, to promote and advertise Career and Technical Education. Work is supervised by the Director of Workforce and Career Development.
- Creates multimedia presentations for the purpose of promoting and advertising CTE.
- Uses social media effectively to promote CTE.
- Utilizes linear and non-linear video editing equipment to produce programming for subsequent broadcast
- Acquires field footage for use in taped and live broadcasts.
- Assists with determining identifying and recommending effective and efficient methods/equipment
- Provides technical insight into further expansion of CTE promotional efforts.
- Work with Career Specialist to help promote CTE programs and opportunities.
- Works collaboratively with the Medial Graphics Analyst.
- Co-Host our CTE Now Podcast.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- This is a 12-month (260-day) position with a contractual start date of July 1, 2026.
- Salary will be prorated based on the official start date.
- Candidates selected for interviews will be contacted by the school program.

Minimum Requirements
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently and 25 to 50 pounds occasionally, and may assist, move, or restrain students when required to intervene in student safety issues. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, lift, walk, stand, and hear.
- Prefer BS degree in Mass Communications, Television Production, or related field and possess a technical operations background.
- Ability to create printed and video material to promote CTE.
- Ability to operate television equipment in live, pre, and post-production situations.
- Ability to creatively edit video footage using linear/non-linear equipment.
