General Statement of Duties

This position will work collaboratively with the Student Support and Wellness Department to provide organizational, clerical, and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of department programs and services. This position collaborates closely with department staff to assist with daily office functions, communication, scheduling, records management, data entry, and coordination of materials and resources. The role supports the department’s efforts to provide high-quality student and staff support services by helping maintain organized systems and responsive customer service.

Essential Duties
  • Provide organizational, clerical, and administrative support to the Student Support and Wellness Department to ensure efficient operations.
  •  Schedule meetings, coordinate appointments, and assist with departmental communications and correspondence.
  •  Support document management processes, including data entry, document preparation, filing systems, and maintenance of various records and/or materials.
  •  Develop and maintain efficient workflows, organizational systems, and digital processes to support department operations and improve efficiency.
  •  Utilize Google Suite applications to create, organize, manage, and distribute documents, spreadsheets, presentations, forms, and departmental communications.
  •  Design and format presentations, flyers, newsletters, forms, and other communication materials using Canva and other technology platforms.
  •  Provide responsive customer service and support to the Student Support and Wellness team.
  •  Assist with coordinating department projects, trainings, events, and resource materials.
  •  Operate office technology and equipment and support staff with basic technology-related needs.
  • Regular attendance is required 
  • All other duties as assigned 
Additional Information

Temporary position. Maximum of 29 hours per week. Hours per day will be assigned by the Director of Student Support and Wellness.

Minimum Requirements

Graduation from high school, some college preferred with school counseling experience/background. Provides organizational, clerical, and administrative support to ensure the efficient daily operation of the Student Support and Wellness Department. Candidates must be proficient in Google Suite applications, experienced in Canva design and formatting, technologically savvy, and skilled in developing streamlined workflows and systems to support department operations. The position may involve handling sensitive or confidential information.
