General Statement of Duties
Performs responsible and specialized office and clerical duties; does related work as required.
This is a front desk position. Primary responsibilities include checking people in and out for doctor and clinician appointments, collecting copays, scheduling return services and verifying and gathering demographic information.
- Provides specialized administrative support including preparing correspondence, reports, forms
- Serves as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, providing information and explaining policies, procedures, and services.
- Maintains appointment calendars, schedules meetings, and coordinates logistics.
- Operates a variety of office equipment and ensures proper maintenance.
- Uses County systems and software to input, retrieve, verify, and research information.
- Answers telephones, greets visitors, and routes inquiries appropriately.
- Considerable knowledge of modern office practices and procedures; strong understanding of departmental policies, procedures, and services; ability to relay procedures and instructions accurately.
- Strong Interpersonal, Communication and Customer Service skills; other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED, and four (4) years of relevant clerical or administrative support experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
