General Statement of Duties
The assistant coach supports the head coach in all aspects of the school's sports program, including coordinating high-level practice sessions and providing exceptional leadership and coaching for student-athletes during regional and state competitions. The assistant coach will play a role in ensuring the safe travel of student-athletes to and from games and competitions and maintain the highest standards of sportsmanship and teamwork.
- Assist the head coach in the organization of the overall program.
- Assist in the supervision of student- athletes during daily practices and at games.
- Prepares players both physically and mentally for interscholastic competition through practice, teaching fundamental skills, and knowledge of rules.
- Assists in the cleaning, storage, and proper care of all team equipment.
Minimum Stipend Amount: $1,702.73 Annual /Season
Stipend amount will be prorated based on actual start date if the assignment has already begun.

Minimum Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of a public-school athletic program.
- Proven ability to coordinate high-level practice sessions.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional leadership and coaching for student-athletes during all competitions.
- Prior experience in preparing athletes for interscholastic competitions.
