The employee shall possess an extensive knowledge of CTE curriculum and instructions, theory and practice of discipline and personnel evaluation theory and practices. Must be able to communicate with diverse groups including business partners, in both written and oral forms. Evidence of leadership ability, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities. 

•    Observes and evaluates classroom teachers and support personnel.

•    Monitors and administers discipline, work directly with the entire school community on discipline issues.

•    Works with the principal in the implementation of the curriculum, Career and Technical Student Organizations, and other extracurricular programs.

•    Supervises parts of school programs as assigned, e.g., Health and Medical, summer career camps, Trade and Industry, CTSOs, special programs, etc.

•    Assists in development of master schedule as needed.

•    Provides staff support by availability to attend county meetings such as staff development, the Business Advisory Council, Henrico Vocational/Education Foundation, and others as needed.

•    Attends work daily and be engaged in job responsibilities. 

•    Performs other duties as assigned.

•    Post-graduate Professional License with administration and supervision endorsement required,

•    Master's degree from an accredited institution.

•    Leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with the community representing the school division.

•    A minimum of three years' experience as a teacher, administrator, or supervisor at the level to be supervised.

•    Demonstrated knowledge of CTE curriculum and instruction, theory and practices of discipline and personnel evaluation theory and practice.

•    Must be able to communicate with diverse groups in both written and oral forms.

• State Police Criminal History Investigation
• Child Protective Services (CPS) Investigation
