General Statement of Duties
Supervises students who have experienced difficulty in the regular classroom. Schedules students into the program and monitors classroom assignments.
• Supervises students a minimum of one day up to five days;
• Schedules the student into the program;
• Reinforces classroom instruction through drill and practice activities with individual students;
• Works with students on an individual basis;
• Supervises 10-15 students in content subject area;
• Maintains files on each student, tracking behavior and participation in program;
• Records information on computer (date, reason, number of days);
• Maintains daily interaction with teachers, guidance counselors and principal;
• Accompanies students to restrooms, lunch period, etc.;
• Monitors the behavior of students in the program;
• Requests work for student from teacher;
• Attends work daily and is engaged and on task - regular attendance is required;
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Compiles several reports outlining program statistics.
• Performs general clerical duties (keyboarding, filing, answering telephone, and duplicating forms).
This vacancy is open until filled and is available for the 26-27SY beginning on August 14, 2026. This is a 10 month, 7.25 hours per day, 204 day position. Minimum salary is $36,269.32 ($24.52 hourly) or based on promotion policy for internal candidates. Salary is prorated based on official start date.

Minimum Requirements
Graduation from high school or equivalent. Specific background and training related to mediation and methods of disciplining with dignity. Knowledge of computers. Attention to detail and the ability to write documentation. Must be able to follow oral and written directions. Able to control a student group independently; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
